What does the free site survey involve?
Before we attend, we confirm the site, travel and what the network needs to do. On site we look at coverage needs, cable routes, the comms cabinet and power, your internet connection, and how staff, guest and payment traffic should be separated. You then get a written summary and, where a project makes sense, a written scope and quote. If a project is not the right fit, we say so. The survey is not free repair of an existing network.
How is a Birmingham installation priced?

How quickly can you get to a Birmingham office?
Free site surveys are booked by agreement. Emergency call-outs are offered on a best-effort basis when we are available, with the charge confirmed before travel. We do not promise a response time unless it is written into a separate agreement.
Do you install across the West Midlands beyond Birmingham?
Yes. Our Birmingham coverage takes in Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Smethwick, West Bromwich, Halesowen and the wider Birmingham area. Work further afield, including Coventry and Wolverhampton, is considered case by case, with any travel charge confirmed in the quote.
What do I get when the installation is finished?
We run and record the agreed wired and wireless checks, label the important ports and equipment, and give you the documentation and administrator access for a network you own.
We already have UniFi. Can you review it?
If your site already runs UniFi and you want to know what state it is in, the Remote UniFi Health Check is a fixed £149 remote diagnostic for one site, one controller and up to ten managed devices. We confirm the site suits the fixed scope and that we can have temporary remote access before booking. It reports findings and does not change the configuration. The free survey is for a possible new installation or planned on-site work.
