Start with fit

The right first step for an existing UniFi network.

We check the details before invoicing. If the problem needs a visit, a larger investigation or urgent response, we will say so before you pay.

This Health Check fits when

You already run UniFi and want an independent, practical view of what the controller is showing.

  • One UniFi site and one controller
  • Up to 10 managed UniFi devices
  • A fault or concern that may be diagnosed remotely
  • Temporary remote access can be agreed safely

Use another route when

Some problems need measurements, physical testing or a broader project scope.

  • A new installation or building survey is needed
  • The site is down and needs emergency response
  • Physical cabling or RF coverage must be tested
  • The network is multi-site or substantially mixed-vendor
Ask about a site survey instead
What we review

The parts of UniFi that help explain the fault.

The review follows the evidence available in the controller. We look for faults, warnings and configuration choices that could explain the problem you described.

  • Controller, alerts and managed-device health
  • Gateway and internet information visible in UniFi
  • Switch uplinks, port errors and PoE warnings
  • WiFi channels, transmit power and network separation
  • Obvious configuration or security risks within scope
Fixed scope £149

The price includes the remote review, a short prioritised report and one email clarification. Payment is made in advance by invoice and bank transfer once we have confirmed the site fits.

What you receive

A short report you can act on.

The report explains the network in plain English and separates urgent issues from improvements that can wait.

  • A summary of the problem and what the review found
  • Findings listed in priority order
  • What appears to be working normally
  • The practical next step for each material issue
  • Which work may be remote and which requires a visit

No configuration changes are included. Remediation, on-site work, RF surveying, physical cabling checks, mixed-vendor investigation, emergency response and ongoing monitoring are separate.

If you want help after the report, we will scope it separately. There is no obligation to continue.

How it works

Fit first. Access second. Report last.

We do not take payment or request controller access until the initial details show that a remote review is suitable.

  1. 01

    Confirm fit

Tell us the controller, device count and the problem you are trying to solve.

  2. 02

    Invoice and access

Once fit is confirmed, the £149 invoice is paid and temporary least-privilege access is agreed.

  3. 03

    Remote review

We review the agreed site for up to 90 minutes without changing the configuration.

  4. 04

    Report and close

You receive the report, remove temporary access and can ask one email clarification.

Before you book

Remote UniFi Health Check questions.

Will you change any settings during the Health Check?

No. The £149 Health Check is diagnostic only. We review the agreed UniFi site and report what we find, but we do not change the configuration.

What access do you need?

We agree temporary access that gives the least privilege needed for the review. View-only access is used where it is sufficient. You remove the temporary access after the report is complete.

Can you diagnose cabling or WiFi coverage remotely?

We can review the information UniFi exposes, including uplink errors and radio configuration, but we cannot test physical cabling, measure the building or carry out an RF survey remotely.

What if the site has more than 10 managed devices?

Send the site and device details first. We will confirm whether the fixed Health Check fits or provide a separate scope before asking for payment.

Is this the same as the free site survey?

No. The free site survey is for a new installation or planned on-site work. The £149 Health Check is a remote diagnostic for an existing UniFi network.

What happens after the report?

One email clarification about the report is included. If you want help with the recommended changes, we can scope the remediation separately. There is no obligation to continue.
